Sanniquillie – The beautiful landscapes of Nimba County will play host to this year’s version of the annual convention of the Harvest Intercontinental Ministries, the National Church Convention, which is expected to kick off next month, with thousands of church leaders, worshippers, and families from across Liberia.

The convention, which will be hosted at Harvest Sanniquellie, is slated to run from 12 August thru 17 August 2025, under the theme: “Rejoice and Renew.”

The convention’s theme encompasses spiritual rejuvenation, church empowerment, and the importance of working together to advance church missions across the country.

The opening ceremony at the Harvest Church in Nimba, promises to be inspiring, as convention attendees are poised to come together to celebrate their faith through melodious gospel music, prayer, and community bonding.

Prominent figures in the Liberian Christian community including church leaders such as Bishops and Pastors from various denominations are expected to attend this week-long event, which will feature a combination of keynote speeches, workshops, and engaging discussions designed to equip church leaders with essential skills for enhancing the Harvest Intercontinental Ministries.

Bishop Wolo Belleh, the head of the Harvest Intercontinental Ministries’ 1st Dioceses of Liberia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Sierra Leone, will preside over the weeklong Christian gathering.

The convention’s agenda will include Worship, Preaching and workshops centering on youth and women’s involvement in the church, mental health awareness, sustainable church practices, marriage, media relations, land ownership, and other community development initiatives among others.

Dedicated and trained members of the ministries are set to be licensed and ordained as pastors to support God’s work in their respective counties and districts.
