    His Excellency Ambassador Teeko Tozay Yorlay and his visiting guest, Professor Khaled Ahmed El-Enany Ali Ezz of Egypt.

    Paris, France-Wednesday, June 4,2025-Professor Khaled Ahmed EL-ENANY ALI EZZ of Egypt who is one of the three candidates for the position of Director-General of UNESCO paid a courtesy visit on His Excellency Dr. Teeko Tozay Yorlay, Sr., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO on Tuesday, June 3,2025.

    The visit was part of Professor Khaled Ahmed El-Enany Ali Ezz’s outreach for support for his candidacy.

    It is important to mention that Professor Khaled Ahmed El-Enany Ali Ezz (Egypt), Firmin Edouard MATOKO (Congo), and Ms Gabriela Ilian RAMOS PATIÑO (Mexico) are contesting for the position with the hope to win.

    According to a press release in the possession of this news agency, the Director-General candidates were interviewed by the UNESCO Executive Board in April 2025 and will be elected at the UNESCO General Conference in October 2025. Ambassador Yorlay was part of those who interviewed the candidates in April and will join the Liberian Minister of Education in October for the election.
