Gbarnga City,Bong County | Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 | Ahead of the Christmas celebration, a son of Panta District in Bong County, has identified with the Rainbow Orphanage home in Gbarnga City.
The donation which took place on December 20, 2025, was witnessed by scores of citizens, especially orphans and administration of the Rainbow Orphanage Home.
Speaking during the presentation of the materials, Mr. Benjamin Nyekpeh narrated that it was his own way of giving back to the community, especially children who are truly in need during this festive season.
Rainbow Orphanage Home is one of the orphanages in Gbarnga City that is catering to more than 50 orphans in Bong County; children currently facing lots of challenges, when it comes to their wellbeing.
Mr. Nyekpeh however expressed excitement in the administration of Rainbow Orphanage on Lofa Road in Gbarnga for the care, despite the challenges they are currently going through.
The food items which were presented to the orphanage has brought some relief to the children ahead of the festive season in the Country.
The Bong County native however assured his unwavering support to the children insofar as the betterment of their livelihood is concerned.
Receiving the food items on behalf of the institution, Mrs. Feeta Namen, Directress Rainbow Orphanage home lauded Mr. Benjamin Nyekpeh for the kind gesture and termed same as timely.
Mrs. Namen emphasized that, the Orphanage was supported by the Christian Aid, when it comes to the provision of food for the past few years.
We were supported by Christian Aid, in the past, since they stopped their support, we are now facing challenges relative to catering for these children as far as feeding is concerned. To eat these days, it is difficult, our children used to eat two times per day, by then; Christian Aid was providing food for the children, since the support stop, the children no longer eat on time and two times daily” Mrs. Namen disclosed.
