River Gee County |Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 | The Technical Staff of the River Gee County Sports Steering Committee headed by its head Coach Alphonso Jarwee has unveiled a 25-man provisional squad for the 2025/26 National County Sports Meet, signaling the county’s serious intent to compete strongly in Liberia’s premier sporting event.
The selection, announced over the weekend, features a balanced mix of emerging talents and experienced campaigners expected to solidify River Gee’s ambitions in this year’s competition.
The goalkeeping department will be anchored by Malike Ghare of Fuan Fuan FC while Corinthians FC brings on the table Emmanuel D. Nah. The two highly rated shot-stoppers recognized for their sharp reflexes, reliability, and commanding presence between the posts.
Meanwhile, the River Gee’s defensive unit boasts a combination of strength, discipline, and tactical awareness.
The selected defenders include Jusu O. Dukuly – WATANGA FC, Lokoloko Jones – Invisible Eleven, V. Otis M. Johnson – Finda FC, Alex Tarwillie – Gee Force, Charles Aviro Allison – NPA, Garnagee G. Gargai – Amazing FC, Derrick C. Harris – Finda FC, Reeto Juwah – Kwa FC.

These players are expected to provide a formidable backline capable of absorbing pressure and initiating quick transitions.
In midfield, the technical staff has named Samuel O. Wesseh – Fuan Fuan, Moses Fredrick Glory – Heaven Eleven, Cyrus Jackson – Theo United, Shadrach D. Siassay – Gee Force, Moses M. Kwiah – Future Lonestar, Shadrick Sayon – Finda FC, Lawrence Doe – Gee Force
According to the River Gee County Head Coach Alphonso Jarwee the midfield group offers creativity, pace, and strong ball-winning ability, qualities and key to controlling matches and executing the county’s tactical approach.
Leading the charge in attack are Ezekiel Koon – Fassell FC, Solomon Hney -Cece United, Richbeste Yarwreh -Banzard fc, Emmanuel Williams – Young Adidas, Morris Seekar – Unattached, Satu A. Sieh – Kwa FC, Andrew S. Pah – Gee Force, Melvin Wesseh – Millinieu Star
According to the committee technical staff, attackers are expected to provide firepower and clinical finishing as River Gee targets an impressive performance in this year’s tournament.
However, the 2025/2026 edition of the National County Sports Meet, River Gee has been placed in Group A, alongside River Cess, Grand Kru, and host county Maryland.
The grouping sets the stage for a series of intense matchups as the county fights to advance beyond the preliminary rounds.
River Gee’s technical staff says the provisional list remains open to adjustments as preparations continue, but confidence is high that the squad has the potential to represent the county with pride and competitiveness as well as dignity.
