The General Manger of the Royal Ambassador hotel is rallying support for the Tourism’s and Hospitality industry, which he said is a foundation for income generation.

The Royal Ambassador Hote is popular for hosting weddings. Its Ballroom can take up to 500+ people, with ceremonies taking place on a front lawn as the magnificent building shows in the background.

“The hotel is very popular for weddings, and other indoor and outdoor activities both locally and internationally”, Manager Roland Stilting said.

The General Manager of the Royal Ambassador Hote, Roland Stilting spoke on Wednesday January 15, 2025 when the West Africa Media Network Honor Royal Ambassador Hotel in Margibi County for their meaningful contribution to the overall development of Liberia.

Presenting the certificate of honor, the West African Media Network Managing Editor Joseph Wea said the group was established after the 2005 election by Journalists from all west African countries to promote peace and development.

“We decided to carry out our own assessment of all the hotels in Liberia and based on public opinion, this hotel was selected as the best hotel of the year 2025”, said Editor Joseph Wea.

Receiving the certificate, Manager Roland Stilting thanked the West African Media Network for recognizing his hotel as the best hotel for the year, noting that the organization remains committed to the development of Liberia.

The Royal Ambassador Hotel General Manager said the hotel was established by a multi-million-dollar investment organization with the goal of boosting the Liberian economy and creating jobs for Liberians.

He disclosed that none of the profits from the hotel had been transferred abroad, and that all profits made have been reinvested in the hotel or other future projects with the same objective of contributing to the development of Liberia.

He told Journalists that the hotel currently has about 60 employees all of whom are residents of Unification Town, lower Margibi County.
