Monrovia, Jan 12, 2025-  Sinoe County Association in the Americas has donated over five thousand United States dollars’ worth of medical supplies to the Health team of Sinoe as part of buttressing national government efforts in promoting healthy life for citizens.

The donation was made recently through the Innovative Education Liberia-IEL, an international organization partnering with the SCAA.

Making the donation, IEL National Director Shadrach Geelar said the association’s donation to the Hospital is a crucial way to support the healthcare system in Sinoe and ensure that patients receive the necessary care they need.

“These donations would help alleviate shortages of essential items, such as surgical instruments, PPE, medications, and diagnostic equipment, which are vital for treating a wide range of conditions” he explained.

Geelar said, the gesture by the SCAA plays a key role in improving the quality of care and enhancing the county health team’s ability to respond to both routine and emergency medical situations, ultimately benefiting the community as a whole.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the health team, the county health services administrator Darius G. Geeplah, appreciated the SCAA on behalf of the Sinoe County Health Team and promised that the supplies would be used for the intended purpose accordingly.

Prior to the donation of the medical supplies, The SCAA has made numerous donations to the health sector in Sinoe. In late 2023, the organization donated $2,000 to help build the ongoing oxygen and solar plants at the Government hospital in Greenville.

The Sinoe County Association in the Americas is a group of Sinoe citizens in the United States who have organized themselves with the so purpose to support their families back home.
