    The inspector General of the Liberia National Police, Gregory Coleman visits Lofa County

    Lofa County, Voinjama City-November 20, 2024-The IG is expected to tour the entire county, hold a townhall meeting with citizens at the Voinjama City Hall.

    In the meantime, he has promised the Lofa County Police Detachment two new brand vehicles for operations.

    According to Lofa County Police Commander ACP Bob Jackson, the Purpose of the (IG) visit is a part of their normal security routine across Lofa County.

    He encouraged citizens not to be afraid of the huge presence of Security officers in Lofa County.

    “Our Inspector General is in Lofa County, therefore you will see huge security presence on ground, don’t be afraid.  Lofa is safe, there is No security threat in the county,” ACP Bob Jackson, Liberia National Police County Commander Said in an interview.

    The IG is expected to meet with different groupings in Lofa to discuss security matters and how best citizens can play their role in helping the police and by extension the joint security maintain peace and security through the county.

    In conclusion, IG Gregory Coleman his entourage are expected to depart the county over the weekend.
