    Two Arrested for Illegal Possession of Drugs by LDEA In Voinjama

    Voinjama City, Lofa County-Monday, September 15, 2025-The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency LDEA Lofa detachment arrested on Friday, September 13, 2025 in Voinjama City a 28 year-old man identified as Richard D. Ballayan with large quantity of Kush, Marijuana and Tramadol.

    Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency LDEA County Commander, Special Agent Kpehe Lomax said, the suspect was arrested during the morning hours at 6:00 am in the Cabamai community in Voinjama.

    The suspect is currently in the LDEA custody waiting for transfer at the Court. The street value of the Drugs is about Liberian dollars $7000.The suspect is currently pleading for mercy.

    In a related development, a 21 Year man identified as John Tamba was on September 12, 2025 and sentenced for 8 months at the Voinjama Central Prison for illegal possession of harmful drugs.

    John Tamba ,who has been found guilty and sentenced for 8 months.

    The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency County Commander, Special Agent Kpehe Lomax disclosed that the suspect John Tamba was arrested on September 9, 2025  and transferred to court and was later found guilty of the crime.

    The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency at the Lofa County level continued to call for logistics as they strive to combat the fight against drugs in Lofa County.

    In conclusion, citizens nowadays are involved in the community and nation’s fight against the sale of illegal drugs and other dangerous substances.
