Bomi, Liberia-A tragic accident occurred earlier today on the Bomi Highway after a speeding vehicle plunged into the Po-River, claiming the lives of two individuals: David Sherman and his namesake, David Nyumah.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver, David Sherman, was reportedly seen leaving Vincent Town in a rush. He attempted to make a U-turn, but instead accelerated at high speed, causing the car to fly off the road and straight into the river.

Family members have confirmed that David Sherman was not a licensed driver. They expressed shock upon learning that he had taken a car that was parked in a garage without permission and placed his nephew, David Nyumah, in the vehicle.

Both victims were residents of Jones Town in the Po-River Community, District #17. The tragic loss has left the community in mourning, with many questioning how the incident could have been prevented.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
