‎‎Toe Town, Grand Gedeh |March 26, 2026| A local resident in Electoral District #3 is issuing a desperate plea for emergency medical assistance following a harrowing domestic accident linked to a long-standing health condition.

‎Decontee Zeon, a resident of Toe Town, sustained severe burns to her right leg about two years ago.

‎Reports indicate the injuries occurred during a violent epileptic seizure, a condition Mrs. Zeon has battled for several years. Family sources say the lack of immediate medical intervention during the episode led to her coming into contact with a heat source, resulting in significant tissue damage.

    ‎The SOS Call

‎Speaking from her home earlier today, Madam Zeon made an emotional “SOS” call to the citizens of Grand Gedeh and the wider donor community. She expressed grave concerns that without specialized wound care and professional treatment, her condition will deteriorate beyond repair.

‎”I am calling on all well-meaning citizens to respond quickly,” Zeon stated. “I need help before this situation gets out of hand.”

‎Local community leaders in Toe City have echoed her plea, noting that rural medical facilities often lack the specific supplies needed for severe burn management.

‎The family is currently seeking financial support or a medical evacuation to a better-equipped facility to prevent infection and permanent disability.

‎Meanwhile, anyone or institution desirous of assisting the person of interest can easily get in touch with our reporter who filed this story, via these contact numbers: +231-775911405/ +231-888362413.
