Zwedru City, Grand- Tuesday, Sept 9,2025-Gedeh County-Residents of New Georgia community in Zwedru City Grand Gedeh County on Monday, September 8,2025 morning woke up to the news of two teenagers being allegedly raped by six men.

According to the victims Alicia Senyon, age 16  and Lulu Nimely, age 15 they both left their New Georgia community residence at 11:pm and proceeded to the Main street to get some fruits, especially apples.

But upon their arrival at one of the famous entertainment spots in the city of Zwedru, commonly known as “B2”; they unfortunately did not find apples.

Thereafter, they decided to go elsewhere for relaxation and enjoyment. There, they remained until 1:00 Am.

“So when we got on the motorbike to carry us home, while we were going another two motorbikes with six guys were chasing us until we got to the Map office community.” Later, the motorbike rider carrying us got afraid, abruptly dropped us and sped off with his bike. “We managed to hide ourselves in the nearby banana bush but unfortunately, the rider of the second bike rider and his 5 associates still searched the area and eventually found my sister and I.”

It was at that point, the two sisters began shouting for help but their attackers, pulled off knives as well as other harmful objects and threatened to kill us if we didn’t keep quiet; but I know one of them who go by the name of “2 Day Soup”

“They put us on the motorbike and carried us to Franzy highway behind the Blessing Hill community and I was sure the time was around 3:00am and had unsolicited sex with two of us one by one.”

“When they were raping us by turns with one of them holding the knife and kept making threatening remarks of harming us.” This continued till they got tired, took us back with them to almost Zwedru but the two bikes sadly hit one another and left us in pain as well as bruises. They were running a race anyway.”

They later managed and made their way to the chair lady of blessing hill resident, seeking for rescue where they both stayed until day.

Meanwhile, the case has been forwarded to the Liberia National Police Women and Children division for proper investigation.

Also, the alleged perpetrators are currently on the run while the LNP Women and Children Division have sent the alleged victims for treatment.
