Voinjama, Lofa County – The battle for school sports supremacy in Lofa County is set to ignite this Friday, August 8, as the 2025 National High School Championship enters its thrilling semi-final and grand final stages in both kickball and football –all in one unforgettable day at the Voinjama sports grounds.

The kickball division will open the day’s excitement at 10:00 AM with a fierce contest between Voinjama Multilateral High School and Zorzor Central High School. At 11:00 AM, Bolahun Public High School will take on Foya Free Pentecostal Mission High School for a spot in the grand final. The two winners will meet for the county crown at 12:15 PM.

The football showdown follows in the afternoon, kicking off at 1:30 PM when Voinjama Free Pentecostal Mission High School meets Zorzor Central High School. At 2:45 PM, Bolahun Public High School faces Free Pentecostal Global Mission High School. The day’s climax will come at 4:45 PM with the grand final to determine Lofa County’s football champions.

The championship is organized by National High School Sports under the leadership of former Lone Star player Dionysius Sebwe as Executive Director, and sponsored by NASSCORP, Bea Mountain, LEC, NICOL, and LAA. Sebwe says the nationwide high school tournament is designed to boost school enrollment using sports as a platform.
