    Lofa CHO Honors for Excellent Performance Relative to Capacity Building

    Voinjama city, Lofa County |Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025| Lofa County Health Officer Dr. Moses Ujoe Weidhgar was on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 honored for his support to human capacity building in Lofa County and for seeking for opportunities for employees to advance themselves in the sector.

    Dr. Moses Ujoe Weidhgar and several other top officials were honored with a beautiful country clothes on December 16, 2025 while attending a graduation ceremony of Mrs. Miatta Johnson who earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Midwifery from the Phebe Esther Bacon University in Zorzor District, Lofa County.

    “We are presenting to you this country clothes because of your contribution to the human capacity building, because you allow us to go for study and we are back to Lofa County to serve our people,” Mrs. Miatta Johnson said while presenting the country clothes.

    In response to the surprised honor, Dr. Weidehga promised all nurses, PAs and other members of the County Health Team his unflinching support for further advancement under his leadership and admonished his “to seek quality education and come back home to serve the County”.

    “I will continue to encourage you to strive for quality education in health care, come back to Lofa and serve your county. I can promised you that under my leadership, the Lofa County health system will never be the same. We will improve the system and we will enhance the human capacity through getting more training,” Dr. Weidhgar intoned when we interview him.

    Since Dr. Moses Ujoe Weidhgar took over the County Health Team over the years, there has been massive improvement in infrastructure, essential drugs and capacity building among others.
