Ganta City, Nimba County | Jan. 13, 2026 | The Liberia Rural Reporters News Network RRNN Lofa County Correspondent, J. Mason Kollie on Monday January 12, 2026 started a three day Law enforcement and Media Conference in Ganta City, Nimba County.
The Law Enforcement and Media Conference brought together journalists and law enforcement officers from five counties including Lofa, Margibi, Bong, Nimba and Grand Cape Mount counties.
According to the Press Union of Liberia President Julius Kanubah, the Law enforcement and Media Conference is intended to have a perfect cum smooth coordination between the Liberian media and joint Security in the country especially as we gear up for the 2029 General and Presidential Elections.
PUL president Julius Kanubah urged the Media and the Joint Security to perfectly coordinate in discharging their respective duties for Liberia.
Also speaking at the opening ceremony, the communication person at the National Election Commission Prince Dunbar also encouraged the media to remain ethical in working for the Country.
The Law enforcement and Media Conference was organized in partnership with the UNDP, the National Election Commission, Press Union of Liberia and several other partners in the media.
More than 90 participants from both the security sector, and the media are participating in the conference.
