    A Daughter of Maryland County Identifies with CB Dunbar Hospital

    The items donated C.B Dunbar Hospital by Ms. Variety Sonkarlay,a daughter of Maryland County.

    Gbarnga City, Bong County | January 22, 2026|Variety Sonkarlay, a proud daughter of Maryland, has donated medical supplies to CB Dunbar Hospital in Bong County.

    The donated items include Softcare pampers, ‘Meditol’ soap, Clorox, tissue, gloves, hand sanitizer, and surgical shoe covers, amongst several others.

    Speaking to Rural Reporter News Network, Madam Sonkarlay said that the donation was her way of identifying with the hospital following the excellent treatment she received from the hospital’s personnel years’ back when she was sick then.

    Ms .Variety Sonkarlay with face cap and her accompanied at the hospital during the donation.

    She added that the experience left her impressed and the need to give back no matter how little.

    The Maryland County daughter emphasized that the CB Dunbar was able to have cater to her in making sure she recovers from her illness; something she said brought smiles on her face and family members.

    She praised the hospital administration for their care and vowed to do more in the future as a proud daughter of Maryland County.

    Sonkarlay wants the hospital to ensure the donated items are used for the intended purpose.

    Even though Madam Sonkarlay didn’t disclose the cost attached to the materials presented to the hospital but the gesture was highly appreciated and truly welcomed by the CB Dunbar authorities and patients.

    Receiving the donation, C.B Dunbar Hospital’s Administrator Mr. Enoch Morris, lauded Madam Sonkarlay for her kind gesture and promised that the materials will be used for the intended purpose.

    Administrator Morris said the materials were a surprise and will significantly support the hospital’s operations. Similarly, he encouraged other philanthropists to follow Sonkarlay’s example in supporting the hospital.

    The C.B Dunbar Hospital administrator used the medium to call on other to always remember the hospital in giving back to society.

    Some of the patients at the hospital, thanked Madam Sonkarlay for her kind gesture and thereby urged her to continue in the future.
