Fissebu Town, Lofa County –Wednesday, May 07,2025- The Chief Executive Officer of the CAN-LEADERSHIP Academy school system in Liberia, Mr. Eric W. Wowoh, has brought joy and encouragement to students during a recent visit to the CAN-LEADERSHIP School in Fissebu Town, Lofa County.
During his visit, Mr. Wowoh distributed gifts to the students and delivered motivating words to inspire them toward academic excellence. He commended the progress of the school and shared the organization’s long-term vision of expanding access to quality and affordable education in Liberia.
According to Mr. Wowoh, CAN-LEADERSHIP has successfully established 28 schools across seven of Liberia’s fifteen counties. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to not only education but also holistic student development.
In a major announcement, Mr. Wowoh revealed plans to host a special student camp in Gbarnga from May 30 to June 1, 2025. The camp is intended to provide outstanding students with exposure to new experiences and foster collaboration among sister schools.
The CEO also disclosed that he and his partners have worked to ship containers of gifts to Liberia, with the first batch to be distributed in Fissebu on Tuesday, May 06, 2025. Each student is expected to receive at least one box of gifts.
Looking ahead, Mr. Wowoh outlined plans to provide all schools with standard materials, including uniforms, ID cards, and report cards. He also announced a vocational initiative to supply sewing machines to help students learn tailoring and make their own uniforms.
He encouraged students to stay focused and committed to their education, reminding them that their future depends on the choices they make today.
Meanwhile, the Principal of the school, Mr. Oliver S. Paye, expressed heartfelt thanks to the CEO and his partners for their continued support.
Speaking on behalf of the student body, Diamond Gayflor and Ruth Kpeadeh expressed excitement over the gifts and urged Mr. Wowoh and his partners to continue their generous support.
