Grand Cape Mount, October 6, 2025-Traditional leaders in Porkpa, Grand Cape Mount County have fined a boy (not identified) $10,000 Liberian Dollars for allegedly broadcasting a local movie titled, “Breaking of the Bush in public”. The training was held in Ganta, Angel Hill Top Guest House from October 2-4. The Liberia Media Center with support from the Multi Stakeholders Forest Governance Accountability project conducted the training. The training was intended to empower female journalists to have in-depth knowledge in basic forest reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability are fundamental in their reporting.
