BUCHANAN CITY, GRAND BASSA COUNTY-Officials of Grand Bassa County has held a short meeting to review the progress of the electricity distribution project in the County.
The meeting was held on Monday, November 18, 2024. Participants of the meeting include, official from the County Administration, Electricity Distribution Network, the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, and MBH Power Limited. MBH Power Limited is the company overseeing the Power distribution network in Buchanan City.
The meeting highlighted key updates on the status of electricity, including the remaining tasks that require the intervention of the leadership. The forum provided important updates on the identification of sites for sub stations that are critical to ensuring the timely distribution of electricity.
These sub stations are expected to play key role in boosting economic activity, and improving the livelihoods and security of residents.
Senator Gbehzohngar Milton Findley and County Administrative Officer, James Duen reaffirmed the county’s commitment to the European Union and the National government for a stable electricity
They assured the stakeholders of the county’s full cooperation in achieving the goals of the CLSG Transco project which aims to deliver electricity to the region in the near future.
