    CAN-University Receives 30 Bags of Cement Towards its Ongoing Construction Project

    30 Bags of Cement donated to Change Agent Network University by Hon.Jackson F. Wolobah,Assistant Minister for Statistics and Research and also a Son of Zorzor.

    Zorzor City, Lofa County–Thursday, Oct. 30,2025– The administration of Change Agent Network University (CAN-U) located in Fissebu Town, has received 30 bags of cement towards the construction of its administrative building.

    Assistant Minister for Statistics and Research at the Ministry of Labor, Ballah Kokolee presented the 30 bags of cement to CAN University on behalf of Jackson F. Wolobah, a son of Zorzor District. Kokolee said the donation was Minister Wolobah own way of contributing to the manpower development of the county, adding, this was Wolobah own way of supporting the University in overcoming some of its financial burdens.

    According to him, the donation was in response to a request from the university for support, which he said timely and worthy, given the fact that the institution is meaningfully contributing to capacity enhancement and national development.

    The donor, Jackson Wolobah served as lecturer at the College of Business at the CAN University prior to his his appointment as Assistant Minister in the current government.

    Assistant Minister Kokolee lauded the current administration and students of the institution for the level of change that’s taking place on the main campus of the school, and urged other sons and daughters of Lofa County to support the university.

    Receiving the 30 bags of cement on behalf of the institution, Founder, Mr. Eric W. Wowoh, lauded Minister Wolobah for identifying with the Change Agent Network University in its driver to construct the administrative building.

    He said the school will remember the kind gesture of the minister as they continue to seek more opportunity from well-meaning citizens to complete the project, noting, the current project requires the contribution of every son and daughter of the county.

    Mr. Wowoh assured that the cement will be used for the intended purpose and further called on leaders of the county to aid the institution which has come to provide quality education for citizens of the county.

    Change Agent Network University is one of the higher learning institutions in Lofa County that carters to the educational needs of people from Salayea, Zorzor and people from other places. It is officially recognized by the National Commission on Higher Education.
