Residents of Foya District in Lofa County are mourning after a tragic road accident reportedly claiming the life of a young girl in the community. The incident has brought sadness to many families and local residents.

According to reports from the area, the accident happened while a convoy from Liberia’s Local Government Ministry was leaving Foya and heading toward Monrovia. Community members said the child was struck during the movement of the vehicles.

The vehicle reportedly involved in the accident is assigned to the Ministry of Local Government.

Residents identified the vehicle by government plate number O-17. People in Foya described the incident as heartbreaking for the entire district.

Families and neighbors gathered after the accident, sharing grief and comforting one another.

“This is a very painful moment for our community,” one resident reportedly said while speaking about the tragedy. Many residents said the loss of a young life has deeply affected the town.

Community members are also calling for greater road safety awareness to help prevent similar accidents in the future.

Residents believe drivers and pedestrians must work together to improve safety on busy roads.

The community reflects on the tragedy, residents are hoping for healing, peace, and stronger safety measures to protect lives across Lofa County and other parts of Liberia.

    Developing story…..
