Monrovia, Thursday, October 9, 2025- Golden Veroleum Liberia (GVL) has taken a significant step towards improving its operations and supporting the welfare of its workers and surrounding communities in Sinoe and Grand Kru respectively.
The company, in collaboration with the Workers’ Union and community leaders in Sinoe, has signed a resolution aimed at enhancing smooth operations and providing support to workers’ dependents.
In a post on the company official Facebook page Wednesday, October 8, 2025, GVL has agreed to pay school fees for workers’ dependents within one month, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the education and well-being of its employees’ families.
The resolution, according to the statement underscores GVL’s dedication to fostering positive relationships with surrounding communities and promoting their socio-economic development.
The agreement is expected to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of GVL’s operations, contributing to the company’s long-term sustainability and growth.
GVL has a history of supporting community development initiatives, including education and infrastructure projects. The company has constructed and renovated schools, provided scholarships, and supported volunteer teachers in Sinoe and Grand Kru counties.
This latest agreement builds on these efforts, further solidifying GVL’s commitment to the welfare of its workers and the communities in which it operates.
