    LFA Appoints Roland Jarka Doe as Chairman of River Gee Sub-Association

    River Gee County – Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 – The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has appointed Roland Jarka Doe as the new Chairperson of the River Gee Sub Association following the resignation of former Chairman Matthew Wesseh on August 15, 2025, citing personal commitments.

    In a statement issued by the LFA, they expressed their gratitude for Mr. Wesseh’s dedication and service during his tenure as Chairman and welcomed Mr. Doe as the new appointee to lead the River Gee Sub Association.

    Doe, with a solid background in grassroots football administration, assured his commitment to advancing football in River Gee.

    He acknowledged the appointment by the LFA and pledged to collaborate closely with all stakeholders to foster the sport in the county.

    The LFA encouraged the football community in River Gee to support and cooperate with the newly appointed Chairperson to achieve shared objectives.

    They also assured stakeholders of ongoing support and resources to ensure the growth and success of football in the region.

    Roland Jarka Doe’s appointment as Chairperson of the River Gee Sub Association signals a fresh chapter in football development cum governance in the locality.

    With his leadership and expertise, the LFA is optimistic that local sports will flourish and expand in River Gee under his guidance.
