Lormai Town, Lofa County –Sunday, July 27, 2025 – Citizens of Lormai Town and surrounding communities have honored District #4 Representative Hon. Gizzie K. Kollience for rehabilitating a major road that connects their town to the main highway leading to Monrovia.

The road project, part of Rep. Kollience’s ongoing legislative development efforts, has been warmly welcomed by residents, who expressed their appreciation by presenting him with a traditional country shirt. The project’s lead engineer and three aides from the lawmaker’s office also received similar traditional garments in recognition of their support.

The celebration, held in Lormai Town, brought together residents from at least four nearby communities. The occasion was marked by a mini football tournament and other cultural activities.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Kollience thanked the citizens for their recognition and pledged further infrastructure development. He specifically committed to the construction of two bridges, as requested by residents.

“The construction of the bridges you’ve requested is indeed valuable. Be assured we will build them, our engineer is prepared and awaiting the order,” he stated.

Rep. Kollience also emphasized that his development engagements will continue throughout the legislative recess, including the dedication of completed projects and groundbreaking ceremonies for new ones.
