Borkeza Town, Zorzor District, Lofa County |Jan. 29, 2026 |In a sincere effort to modernize education in rural Liberia, Yarkpawolo Zaza Public School in Borkeza Town, has received 15 pieces of white board from Minister Jackson F Wolobah.
During the presentation of the 15 white boards to the institution in Borkeza over the weekend, minister Wolobah said this was his own way of identifying with the institution, which according to him, is catering to over 400 students from Borkeza and its environs.
The Zorlayea native mentioned that the white board donated to the school will help reduce the excessive use of chalks by instructors and this in turn, will also add more value to the quality of presentations to the benefit of the student populace at the only government run senior High school in the town.
The Yarkpawolo Zaza Elementary, Junior and Senior High School is one of the oldest public owned institutions in Zorzor District, which continues to impact knowledge to hundreds of children.
According to information gathered about the school, this is the first time the school is receiving such modern board for use through the kind gesture of the Assistant Labor Minister.
That said, Hon. Wolobah has in the meantime promised the administration and students of the institution his unwavering support in helping to upgrade its learning environment. He assured them of more support in the near future.
Meanwhile,the presentation of the 15 white boards took place on the school’s campus and was witnessed by the student body,some parents,the Administration as well as members of the general public.
Receiving the boards, the school’s administration on behalf of the school and people of Borkeza, thanked Minister Wolobah for his timely donation. They assured him that the boards will be used for the intended purpose.
