River Gee County – Saturday, August 16, 2025 – In an effort to enhance healthcare services in Potupo Joproken, District 2, River Gee County, the District Representative, Isaac Boy Choloplay Wou has provided 15 bundles of zinc to assist with the renovation of a local clinic.

The clinic sustained considerable damage due to a severe storm, resulting in the community’s loss of reliable access to vital medical care.

Serving as a key healthcare facility for five neighboring towns in the Potupo District, the clinic’s structural issues had severely limited its ability to deliver essential services, including vaccinations and emergency treatments.

However, community leaders initially estimated that eight bundles of zinc would be needed to begin the renovation, but Rep. Wuo’s generous donation has surpassed expectations and allowed for the quick resumption of repair work.

Local residents have expressed their gratitude to Rep. Wuo for his prompt support, viewing the donation as a crucial step towards revitalizing healthcare in the area.

The act is also perceived as an encouragement for further assistance from partners and stakeholders to enhance and restore the health infrastructure in the region.
