The Association President mentioned that the inequality gap between the poor and the rich will only be closed when education is prioritized and more Liberians are educated.

“We have a mission and vision to ensure that students have access to books to ensure that children are able to read. But more importantly ensuring everything to make sure that we are able to close the inequality gap-which can only be closed in making sure that more of our children are educated, and that is why we have to take learning seriously,”RIGCAA’s President concluded.

Meanwhile River Gee County Senator, Francis Saidy Dopoe and former Senator Conmany B. Wesseh, cutting the ribbon maintained that students will not do better in school if they cannot read well, thus urging parents to encourage their kids to prioritize reading.

The two Statesmen have called on students, school administrators and residents of Fish Town to take ownership of the facility and sustainably manage same for the collective good the county and its citizens.

For his part, River Gee County Superintendent, Mike Swengbe has described the project as a dream come true and called on the association to bring more if the County is to develop.
