Monrovia-[March 26, 2025]-The Liberian National Red Cross Society has begun a two-day capacity building storytelling for fundraising workshop in Monrovia. Journalists, including Red Cross staff and volunteers are beneficiaries of the two-day capacity building initiative.

The training, which is supported by the Swedish Red Cross, is intended for participants to master the art of impactful storytelling. It also aims for Journalists to tell story that will raise awareness, change minds, attract supporters, encourage donations, build partnerships and create emotional connections in the society.

The two days capacity building training workshop is taking place at the Liberia National Red Cross society headquarters on Lynch Street, Monrovia.

During opening remarks, Red Cross Program Manager, Christopher Olue Johnson welcome participants and outlined numerous supports the Redcross has made in the country and pledged more collaboration.
