Lofa County, Voinjama City –March 18, 2025- In a significant step toward addressing deteriorating road conditions in District #4, Representative Gizzie Kollince has officially launched a major road rehabilitation initiative. The announcement was made on March 17, 2025, during a gathering in Voinjama City, where the lawmaker outlined plans to improve key streets and farm-to-market roads.

According to Representative Kollince, the project is jointly funded by the national government and his office to alleviate transportation challenges, especially during the rainy season. “The goal of this project is to significantly improve the living conditions of our constituents, particularly during the rainy season when poor road conditions make daily life even more difficult,” he stated.

The rehabilitation will focus on several critical roadways, including the Koiyama-Lawalazu corridor, the Vavamai-Bakuma road, the Koigbela-Massamai road, and the Lofa Bridge-Kazza road. These improvements aim to enhance access to markets and essential services, thereby boosting local economic activities and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

Beyond infrastructure development, Representative Kollince also addressed concerns over a recent report of a mysterious death in the district. He condemned any acts of violence and urged community members to avoid spreading misinformation or wrongfully implicating individuals. “We must work together to build a community based on trust and solidarity,” he emphasized.
